Plant Variety Rights Bill

Introduced on May 11. The Bill replaces the Plant Variety Rights Act 1987, reforming the regime and implementing the Crown’s obligations under the Treaty of Waitangi in relation to the plant variety rights regime and obligations under the CPTPP.
